Next day, in school after lunch, Neko was heading to her locker. It was the second day of the new school year so, she didn't know where all her classes were yet. all she mostly knew was where her locker was located. When she started to round the corner to her locker, she accidently bumped into someone and dropped her books. Neko stared at her books for awhile and sighed. Then she bent down to pick them up. The person she bumped into bent down to help.
"Sorry, I should have watched where I was going." It was a boy.
"No. It wasn't your fault, I didn't watch where I was going either."
"Then I guess it was both our faults."
Neko stared up to smile and became dazed because the boy was the most handsome guy she ever saw. He had red and black hair, blue eyes, and earring on the left ear, and it looked like he've been working out at the gym. After awhile the boy introduced himself.
"Hi, my name is Hikaru. May I ask your name?"
Neko just kept staring at him, hypnotized by his voice.
"Hello is anybody home?" he asked waving his hand in front of Neko's face.
That knocked Neko right out of her reverie.
"Huh? Uh,yes?"
"Hi. I wonder where you went?" he asked laughing. Neko laughed too.
"Like I was saying, my name is Hikaru. May I ask what your name is?" he said holding out his hand.
Neko took his handing saying,"My name is Neko."
"Neko. That's a nice name." he said smiling a dazzling smile.
At that moment the bell rang.
"Well, it was nice meeting you Neko. Guess I'll see you around."
"Yeah. Nice meeting you too."
Hikaru nodded and left to his next class. Neko stared at his retreating figure. When he disappeared Neko started feeling dumb. She can't belive she just stood there staring at him when he was talking to her.Neko started to call her mom to come pick her up because she wasn't feeling good.
